The world speaks in many languages,

but sees in only one.

The Mississippi Gulf Coast Museum of Historical Photography is
dedicated to preservation, restoration, and public exhibition of historical images and documents.   As the craft and art of photography evolved, history was recorded with never before seen fidelity and accuracy.   The photograph became a faithful window to our past.

Join us in the celebration of the early photographers of the golden age of photography, and their photographs of the Mississippi Gulf Coast that survived the ravages of time and misfortune.
